Giclée
The term "giclée" is derived from the French verb “gicler,” meaning to spray or to squirt. A giclée is a newly developed printing technique used in the Netherlands, employing an advanced 12-colour printer that sprays pigment inks onto the canvas, layer by layer. The giclée is then finished with a transparent varnish. Due to this wide colour spectrum and high resolution, the reproduction closely approximates the original.
