Giclée
The term giclée is derived from the French verb "gicler," which means to spray or mist. Giclée is a newly developed printing technique applied in the Netherlands using an advanced 12-color printer that sprays pigment inks onto the canvas, layer by layer. The giclée is then coated with a transparent varnish. Due to this broad color spectrum and high resolution, the original is closely approached.
